Ronnie Coleman was recently on the Joe Rogan podcast, and invariably the topic of steroids came up. In my book (not in my actual book, it’s a phrase!) and in the books of many around the world, is the greatest bodybuilder of all time. In a sport that is subjective, this is a bold statement, but the eight straight Sandow trophies that he won during the most competitive era that bodybuilding has ever had makes him a clear number one.

I’m not arguing that he won the Mr. Olympia while natural. That’s never happened, even in the 1960s. But I think it’s highly plausible that he won his pro card without taking steroids, competing against men who largely were.

If I saw someone like this, I would say that there is a 99.99% chance that they have used anabolic steroids, and probably for a some time.
